The second founding anniversary of Shabdashree Sahitya-Sangskritik Sangsad 2021 was held on 26th November. Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad was held in the conference room. The event was inaugurated and the cover of “Shabdashree Magazine” was unveiled by Chharacharya Sirajul Farid. Mr. Mahmudul Hasan Nizami, Poet and Researcher, Editor, Dainik Desh Patrika, delivered the keynote address. Lion MK Bashar was present as the chief guest.
Special guests included poet and researcher Ali Ashraf Khan, distinguished Shamim Parvez, professor and researcher Emdadul Haque Khan (American International University), poet and writer Atiq Helal, editor of Natuntara Saifur Meena, poet and literary Dodul Perth, poet and writer. Syeda Shahnaz Parveen is the chief. Also missing from the time were Dick Lytton (fiction writer), Majem Ali Malin (professor and editor, Dainik Banalata), Anjan Kanti Das (writer and playwright), Dr. Abdur Razzak (poet and researcher).
Shruti Madhur recited poems by Bashir Tito, Hillary Hitler Avi, MNS Turki, Jasmine Sathi, Sumi Islam, Rekha Chowdhury and Riyad Aniket and Dilruba Rakib, Sam Mahbub Hasan, Rabiul Islam and Mahbub Shahjalal. Bangladesh Television artists Sheila Parveen, Jasmine Sathi, Aminul Islam and Dilip Gomez performed music on the cultural program schedule at the end of the program. Rotarian Dilruba Rakib and journalist Rabiul Islam were present at the presentation.
The decision to celebrate Shabdashree’s founding anniversary on a fixed day in March instead of November 26 was also taken at the event. The event was presided over by Prince Moniruzzaman, Founder President of Shabdashree Sahitya-Sangskritik Sangsad.
