On the occasion of the 102nd birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day 2022, a drawing competition 2022 was held at Gurudaspur Government Model Pilot High School on Friday 18 March.
According to the organizing committee, more than two hundred students from two upazilas (Gurudaspur-Baraigram) took part in the competition in four groups, KK, C and D. A total of 12 candidates were selected from each team, including first, second and third. Besides, a total of 32 teams from different educational institutions of the two upazilas took part in the debate competition. Later, they will be rewarded through a ceremony on March 31.
The type of painting was determined by drawing (pencil, pen, color pencil, pastel, charcoal, etc.) and painting (watercolor, acrylic, oil paint, mixed medium, etc.).
A total of 12 people will be awarded first, second and third in four categories in the drawing competition. Also comes with a crest and certificate.
Apart from this, there are crests, prizes and certificates for both the teams in the debate competition. There are also courtesy awards for judges. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on a grand scale on March 31 at Gurudaspur Upazila premises.
Advocate Kohli Quddus Mukti, Founder and President of Kallol Foundation and co-president of Bangladesh Juba Mahila League, presided over the function. General Secretary Md. Milton Uddin was present as the chief guest.

Ariful Islam Biplob, Joint Secretary Rezaul Karim Sabuj, Upazila Awami League Co-President Babu Rajkumar Kashi, Baraigram Municipal Mayor Majedul, Founder member Asif Abdullah been kuddus shovon spoke as special guests. Members of the Kallol Foundation, including Bari Nayan. During this time the guests spoke highlighting the activities and importance of the foundation.
