After raping his girlfriend at Asashuni in Satkhira, he was accused of leaving her to three people. A case has been filed against four persons including boyfriend Mashum Billah in this incident on Thursday (February 3) night. The victim girl is undergoing treatment at Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
The accused Mashum Billah is the son of Momtaz Gain of Srimantakati village in Tala upazila. She is an Honors third year student. His three associates are Shahed Babu, Rashid and Shahinur Rahman of Dargapur village.
It is learned that the victim is a 10th class student of a local school. His parents work in a brick kiln. Since 2019, Mashum Billah has been offering love to the girl through various means. At one point a relationship developed with him.
The schoolgirl undergoing treatment at Satkhira Sadar Hospital said, “I had a dream to work in the police.” That’s how I was preparing myself. My parents worked as bricklayers. Mashum Billah’s father owns a pharmacy. Thinking that the relationship would not last because my family was in a bad situation, I decided to end the relationship.
When Mashum told me to meet him for the last time 6 months ago, I met him at his uncle’s house in Srimantakati. There, Mashum raped me and threatened not to tell anyone about the incident. I didn’t dare tell anyone. It even prevented me from going to school. Was coming with threats through mobile phones. Has done immoral things with me by showing fear at different times.
The schoolgirl said that the last time she organized was on January 30 and tried to rape her. Then he took me into the house and did immoral things. Then Shahed Babu, Rashid and Shahinur entered the room one by one. They tried to rape me. When I interfered, he slapped me, killed me and bit me on different parts of the body. When I shouted, the people next to me came running. At this time they fled.
The victim girl says, my mother used to call her mother Mashum Billah. He ruined my life. I want his punishment. Meanwhile, Mashum Billah was contacted to know about the allegations but all the three phone numbers used by him were found blocked.
Asashuni Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mominul Rahman said the girl’s mother had filed a case against the four for rape and attempted rape. Attempts are being made to arrest the accused. The girl is undergoing treatment at Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
