Yemen’s Houthi rebels attacked an Israeli cargo ship in the Red Sea on Monday night. The Israeli media The Times of Israel published this information in a report on Tuesday.
According to the report of the newspaper, the Houthis launched a rocket attack on an Israeli ship operated by the UK Navy on Monday midnight in the Bab-el-Mandeb strait, 15 nautical miles from the port of Mokha in Yemen.
The Bal-el-Mandeb Strait is basically a canal connecting the Red Sea. It has been controlling Yemen. Earlier, Yemen’s Houthi rebels seized several Israeli ships in protest against Israel’s barbaric attacks on Gaza.
On Saturday, the Houthis warned Israel that if the massacre in Gaza is not stopped, not only Israeli ships, but all ships bound for Israel will be attacked. After their warning, the ship bound for Israel was attacked on Monday midnight.
