According to family sources, on Monday afternoon, Jasmine hanged herself from the house without the presence of family members. Her father came home from the market and found Jasmine hanging from the ceiling. At that time, others in the house rescued him due to his screams and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. After receiving the information, the police went to the deceased’s house in the evening and recovered the body.
Companyganj Police Station OC Pranab Chowdhury said that a wrongful death case has been filed in this incident. The body of the schoolgirl was sent to Noakhali General Hospital morgue on Tuesday morning for post-mortem. Necessary action will be taken in this regard.
