Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the government will be formed in Bangladesh not with arms, not in the dark of night, but through voting. People of the country will not accept playing with fire. The people of the country will not allow the election to be thwarted. Apart from Awami League, what did those who were in power do for the workers, what the Awami League government did.
He said this at the party’s election management committee meeting at the Awami League district office in Tejgaon on Friday (November 17) afternoon.
The Prime Minister said, since we came to the government, there have been one election after another. I have seen various irregularities here. We have amended them whenever we have the opportunity to ensure people’s right to vote. I even made a law for the formation of the Election Commission. The Election Commission will be formed through law.
The Prime Minister also said, ‘I will give my vote to whomever I want’ – with this slogan, we make people aware of their right to vote and fight for the right to vote and rice.
