A housewife named Kanika Chakrabati (45) of Krishna Kali Goswasi village of Khanpur village of Aminpur police station of Bara upazila committed suicide by hanging herself.
According to family sources, there was an argument with the family members while having breakfast in the morning. It is said that she committed suicide by hanging her veil around her neck with a ceiling fan at noon. After much searching, family members and locals saw him from the window of the house and took him to Bera Upazila Health Complex for treatment, but the doctor on duty declared him dead.
In this regard, Aminpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Raoshan Ali said, if complaints are received, legal action will be taken in this matter.
