The Election Commission (EC) will hold a dialogue with the ruling Awami League and the main opposition Jatiya Party on Sunday. Through this, the EC’s dialogue with the political parties on the occasion of the 12th National Parliament elections is ending.
The Jatiya Party, the main opposition party in the Jatiya Sangsad, will hold a dialogue with the EC from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday. It is reported that a delegation led by party chairman Ghulam Mohammad Quader will participate in the dialogue.
Besides, Awami League will submit the audited account report of 2021 calendar year at Election Commission office at 10 am. Later at 3 pm, the Awami League delegation led by party general secretary Obaidul Quader will participate in the EC dialogue.
The EC has started dialogue with the registered political parties on the occasion of the 12th National Assembly elections from last July 17. On the first day, four groups sat in dialogue. EC has allowed 10 representatives from each party to participate in this dialogue.
