State Minister for Culture KM Khalid said that this year’s book fair will start from 2 pm. However, the fair will start on Friday and Saturday from 11 pm. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the virtual fair on February 15 at 3 pm.
He announced the decision after the third meeting of the book fair management committee at Bangla Academy’s Poet Shamsur Rahman Auditorium on Wednesday.
He further said that no decision has been taken yet on whether the book fair will end on February 28 or not. It will be known after 28th.
