Towards the end of Magh, it rained like a monsoon all over the country on Friday. It may rain in different parts of the country on Saturday. However, the meteorological department had earlier forecast more rain than usual this month.

According to meteorologists, the night temperature will drop to a maximum of 4 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours due to reduced rainfall.

It has been raining in all the sections for the last 24 hours from 6 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday. There has been moderate to heavy rain in some places. The highest rainfall of 69 mm was recorded in Khulna at that time. Dhaka received 16 mm of rain.

Besides, 58 mm of rain fell in Madaripur, 52 mm in Dinajpur, 50 mm in Rajarhat and 43 mm in Chandpur, according to the Meteorological Department.

It was raining heavily in Dhaka last night. Although it has not rained since morning, there are clouds in the sky. Sometimes the sun is hiding behind the clouds.

Saturday (February 5) is the 22nd day of the month of Magh. This morning, the lowest temperature of the country was recorded at Tentulia in Panchagarh, 11.2 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Dhaka was 15.6 degrees Celsius.

Assistant Meteorologist Shahnaz Sultana told Jago News that it is raining in Chittagong region and it may continue on Saturday. There is a possibility of drizzle towards Rangpur and Sylhet divisions. However, it will not rain anywhere in the country from Sunday.

‘Dhaka and Khulna areas may be relatively rainless on Saturday. However, the clouds will be anagona. The Rajshahi and Jessore regions are relatively cloudless. There is no chance of rain anymore. ‘

Shahnaz Sultana said the night temperature could drop by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. Clouds have cleared over Rajshahi and Jessore regions. Cold winds will blow in as the clouds clear, so cold spells can blow over the region.

The meteorologist said that it may rain again on February 10, then there may be light rain then there is no possibility of heavy rain like now.
