Corona situation is getting more and more complicated at Rajshahi Medical College (RAMEC) Hospital. Rajshahi district has the highest rate of corona infection in the hospital. Two more died in one day in the corona unit of Ramek Hospital. The two died between 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (January 29) and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday (January 30). Among the dead were men and women.
According to hospital sources, the two who died in the last 24 hours were undergoing treatment for corona symptoms. One of them lives in Rajshahi, the other is a resident of Naogaon district. In one day, 11 patients were admitted in the corona unit of Ramek Hospital. And 6 people have returned home after recovering. At present the total number of patients in the unit is 60. Of these, 34 are corona positive patients.
Meanwhile, 458 samples have been tested in the PCR lab of Rajshahi Medical College in the last one day. Of these, 26 samples were identified as positive. In the sample test of 353 people of Rajshahi, the result of 225 people came positive. The detection rate is 72.75 percent. This is the highest infection rate in the district.
Ramek Hospital Director Brigadier Shamim Yazdani confirmed the information.
