Four new patients have died in the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College (RAMEC) Hospital. The four died between 8:30 am on Friday (January 26) and 8:30 am on Saturday (January 29). Among the dead were two women and two men. And Rameka’s corona test rate was 64.5 percent.
Hospital sources said two of the four who died in the last 24 hours were corona positive. They are residents of Rajshahi district. Besides, one of the two who died of symptoms was from Rajshahi and the other was from Naogaon. 4 patients have been admitted in one day in the corona unit of Ramek Hospital. And 4 people have returned home after recovering. At present the total number of patients in the unit is 51. Of these, 26 are corona positive patients.
Meanwhile, in the last one day, 17 samples were tested in the PCR lab of Rajshahi Medical College. Of these, 120 samples were identified positive. Identification rate is 84.52 percent. All of them live in Rajshahi. Earlier in the day, the corona infection rate rose to a maximum of 74 percent in a lab test. The next day 10 percent less real.
Ramek Hospital Director Brigadier Shamim Yazdani confirmed the information.
