Dhamairhat (Naogaon):
A speeding transport hit a motorcycle from behind in front of Mamun Farm in Hartikidanga Bazar of Dhamairhat Upazila and fled on Joypurhat Road.
Two people were killed and two others were injured when four people, including a diver and a cyclist, fell off. The injured were rushed to the emergency department of Dhamairhat Hospital by their relatives in a van,
the doctor said. Abdul Karim’s son Sourav, who was at the scene, said the two men were hit in the head by a truck at 8.30pm on Sunday night and lost their brains. The names of the injured will be known when they return. The injured were identified as Minhaj Uddin, 28, father of Mohammad Jewel of village Jahanpur Dhamairhat. Md. Sajal (26) Father Md. Helal Uddin Village Mangalbari Dhamairhat. The identities of the dead were not known till the time of writing the news.
