A motorcyclist was killed when a bus hit him in Singra

Motorcyclist Russell Ahmed, 32, was killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a motorcycle at Singra in Natore.

The incident took place at 11am on Monday in the bamboo bridge area of ​​Singra on the Natore-Bogra highway. The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain, son of Anwar Hossain of Dantmanika village under Nandigram police station.

Meanwhile, after the incident, the locals arrested Rezaul Islam, the driver of the deadly Bashundhara Paribahan bus from Singra bus stand area and handed him over to the police. Jhalmaliya Highway Police Officer (OC) said. Rezwanul Islam said that Russell Ahmed was returning to Nandigram from Singra on a motorcycle. He died on the spot in a head-on collision with a passenger bus (Dhaka Metro-B 13-0973) of Bashundhara Paribahan bound for Natore at Bamboo Bridge area.

The deadly bus and its driver have been arrested in the incident.
