The Center for Communication and Development of Mass Communication and Development of Media in Bangladesh since 1999 has been very successful in enhancing the professional skills of local media workers and journalists, enhancing the capacity of local and regional and community media, developing public journalism and promoting alternative media.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Shariful Islam, Professor Mashihur Rahman of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Rajshahi University and Akhbarul Hasan Millat, Acting Editor of Dainik Sonar Desh spoke as special guests.
