To continue class activities in educational institutions, the government has directed to ensure priority in vaccination of students between the ages of 12 and 18 years. The written instruction says that students will not be able to go to class without getting vaccinated.

According to the office order, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education has already issued various instructions on December 30 to vaccinate all students between the ages of 12 and 18 by January 15.

A few guidelines were given for the successful implementation of this important and priority program of the state.

All students aged 12-18 (registered and unregistered) will receive the vaccine. The concerned educational institution will ensure the attendance of the students at the center on the day fixed for the main vaccination. At the same time, he will send the required number of teachers to the vaccination center to maintain discipline.

No student will be able to participate in class activities at the educational institution without being vaccinated. All officers and employees of all Secondary and Higher Education Offices, District Education Offices, Upazila / Khana Secondary Education Offices cannot leave the workplace without the permission of the authorities while vaccination activities are in progress.

The District Education Officers will be in constant touch with the concerned Deputy Commissioners and Civil Surgeons and will make necessary arrangements to ensure the implementation of the immunization program.

The office order has directed the directors of all regions of the country (secondary and higher education), principals of government and private colleges, all regional deputy directors, district education officers, head teachers of all government and private educational institutions, all upazila / thana secondary education officers to take necessary action.
