Police have arrested 5 people with drugs and warrants in a raid in Naogaon’s Raninagar. They were arrested after conducting raids in different areas of the upazila on Monday morning and morning. The detainees were sent to court at noon.
Raninagar Police Station OC Shahin Akand said Nayan Hossain, 24, son of Mukul Hossain of Chandipur village in Naogaon Sadar upazila was arrested with 50 grams of marijuana in a police raid in the bus stand area of Sadar upazila on the basis of secret information. A drug case has been filed against him at the police station.
Abdul Hamid, 36, son of late Mirjan Ali of Nagar Pachupur village, Mohammad Ali, 52, son of Taj Uddin, Abul Kalam Azad, son of late Jinnat Ali and Rezaul Karim Reju, son of late Akbar Ali of Bhandara village were arrested on warrant this morning. . The five arrested have been sent to court on Monday afternoon.
