Helpless margins are happy to get help in Gangachara

A non-governmental organization (NGO) Muslim Aid Bangladesh and Share Foundation jointly distributed winter packages worth Tk 1.5 million among 306 destitute, disabled, elderly and street children in Gangachara Upazila on Sunday (January 9). Each package contained 1 blanket, 1 sweater, 1 monkey-hat, 1 Vaseline, 1 pair of wool socks and 1 bag. The hygiene package also included 10 masks, 5 soaps, 2 packets of sanitary napkins, 1 kg detergent powder and unconditional cash of Tk 3,000.
Gangachara Upazila Vice-Chairman Saju Mia, Rangtur District Awami League Member and Gangachara Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Bulbul Ahmed, MuslimAid Humanitarian Co-ordinator Khandaker Abdul Quader Raju, Journalist Zia Islam, Share Foundation Director (Administration) Debashish were present during the distribution. Officers including slaves.
Masum Ali (8), who came from Paschimpara of Barabil Union to get help, said, “Baba Muslim Aid Bangladesh Hamak has given so much, I will pray for him. They help poor people like Zheno (as) Hummer more.
Many people including Bulbuli Begum (65) of Moniram Halmajhipara village, Kafil Uddin (69) of Talukbhuban village and Tamanna Begum (22) with disability expressed their happiness and satisfaction.
