In Gurudaspur, 3 members of Antzela Motorcycle Thieves were caught by RAB

An operation team of Natore Radhab-5, Rajshahi on Tuesday (December 21) raided Sadar police station in Natore district, Chatmohar in Pabna district and Gurudaspur police station in Natore district on Tuesday (December 21) and arrested three members of Antzela motorcycle thieves.

Under the leadership of Company Commander, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Farhad Hossain and Company Deputy Commander, Md. Rafiqul Islam, the stolen motorcycle was recovered and 3 members of the gang were arrested.

An operation team of Natore Camp, RAB-5, Rajshahi, on the basis of intelligence information, found out that some members of the inter-district thieves were booking stolen motorcycles through parcels at a transport parcel agency under Sadar police station in Natore district. On the basis of the information, they conducted an operation and arrested Md. Nur Islam (26), son of Md. Kazem Pramanik of Chanchkair Madhyam Para mahalla of Gurudaspur upazila along with a stolen Discover 125cc motorcycle.

The remaining 2-3 members of the gang of thieves sensed the presence of the RAB and fled. When Nur Islam was asked to show the documents of the motorcycle, he failed to show any documents in this regard and if he admitted that it was a stolen motorcycle, the stolen motorcycle was confiscated.

Rakib Hasan, 30, son of Mohammad Razzak of Pathan Para, Chatmohar, Pabna, was arrested along with a black Pulsar 150cc stolen motorcycle on the basis of information provided by him after interrogation. Besides, Md. Tuhin Pagla (30), son of late Abul Kashem of Bill Beaspur in Gurudaspur has been arrested along with a 125 cc Dragon and a 150 cc stolen white motorcycle.

Preliminary interrogation revealed that they were members of an inter-district gang. They have been stealing motorcycles from different districts for a long time and have been selling stolen motorcycles to them by attracting customers with flashy advertisements of selling motorcycles on online platforms.
