Advocate Kohli Quddus Mukti, vice-president of Bangladesh Awami Juba Mahila League, said that all the achievements of Bengalis and all the good things have been due to the youth. The Bangladesh of the future is the Bangladesh of youth. Young people are our present, they are our future.
He was speaking at a roundtable discussion titled “Bangladesh and the Thoughts of the Youth of the Future” at the CIRDAP auditorium in the capital on Saturday (December 11). The roundtable discussion was organized by Bibarta24.net and Jagran (IP) TV.
This vice-president of Bangladesh Youth League said, 49 percent of our country is young. The present and future of this country depends on them. Even during the great liberation war, 90 percent of the youth led. Therefore, the country cannot be imagined without the youth.
He said that the youth should take the responsibility of this country by holding the ideology of liberation war. They have to work for the welfare of the country inspired by the spirit of liberation war and patriotism.
Elaborating on the current situation of the youth of Bangladesh, he said that the youth of Bangladesh have shown that they are the beacons of the country by working for the crisis of the country including the Kovid crisis and building a new Bengal. They will be able to build the golden Bangladesh of Bangabandhu’s ideology.
“Through the youth, we want to see a Bangladesh where there is no corruption,” said Kohli Quddus Mukti. Doctors will sit down to serve the people, the cultural heritage of rural Bengal will come back. People will take the country forward by working for the people.
