Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina has been reported to have been assassinated at least 19 times so far. Of these, case information has been found in 14 cases. Of these, verdicts have been announced in only four cases. It is estimated that 70 party leaders and activists have been killed so far in these attacks. Several thousand were injured. The families of those who lost their lives due to these incidents have not yet received justice.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the remarks at the closing ceremony of the 15th session of the National Assembly on Sunday (November 26).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “I know that I may be killed at any moment, but I am still serving the people, ignoring the fear of death.” On August 15, 1975, they killed my parents, my younger brother Russell, my two younger brothers, and several others. Then I survived being abroad.

At the time, the Prime Minister further said, “I know I will not be spared either. Ignoring all that, I left my little boy with my sister and returned to the country.” I am working for the fulfillment of my father’s dream, my father has fought for this Bangladesh all his life, he has been imprisoned many times, till his death he has dedicated his life for the betterment of the people. And my mother has given her courage and inspiration.

“We have made much more progress than the three indicators given by the UN,” he said. As a result, the CPD is reviewed twice. This time our goal is to transform the country into a developed and prosperous country by 2041.
