Ed has been re-elected president of the Singra Upazila Awami League tri-annual conference. Sheikh Ohidur Rahman, General Secretary of Singra Municipality Alhaj Jannatul Ferdous has been elected as General Secretary. Natore District Awami League President and Natore-4 MP Prof Abdul Quddus announced the names of the elected president and secretary on Wednesday (November 18) afternoon.
The tri-annual conference of Singra Upazila Awami League was held at 10 am on Wednesday at the Upazila Court ground. Upazila Awami League President Ed. Sheikh Ohidur Rahman’s presidency and the recently departed General Secretary ICT State Minister Ed. General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader MP addressed the conference as the chief guest.
Member of the Presidium of Bangladesh Awami League AH Rahman, Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Member Begum Akhter Jahan and General Secretary of Natore District Awami League and Member of Parliament Alhaj Shafiqul Islam Shimul spoke as special guests.
