A skullless newborn has been born at Gurudaspur in Natore. The baby was born at a private hospital called Anwar Clinic and Diagnostic Center in Nazirpur Bazar of Nazirpur Union on Friday night.
The home of a child born without a skull is in the village of Bri-Kasho in Nazirpur Union. According to hospital sources, Nasreen Begum, wife of farmer Emdadul Haque of Br-Kasho village, came to the clinic to give birth to her second child.
Dr. Aminul Islam Sohel, the on-duty doctor of the clinic, gave birth to the baby by caesarean section at around 9 pm on Friday. The baby is shown soon after birth, with no skull or brain. However, the mother and child are still alive and well. The child’s father, Emdadul Haque, said he was a farmer by profession. His wife has a son before him. Admitted to clinic for delivery of second child.

He has seen many such children in his operation life. This is mainly due to genetic and hormonal problems. However, these children do not survive. Even then, many efforts are made to keep the child alive. The rest is God’s will. However, there is a possibility of saving with advanced treatment.
