Natore Deputy Commissioner Shamim Ahmed and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Tamal Hossain visited Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the followers of traditional religions at Gurudaspur in Natore. This year, Durgotsab is being held in 34 puja mandals in Gurudaspur.
Natore Deputy Commissioner Shamim Ahmed visited Gurudaspur Upazila Puja Mandap on Wednesday (October 13). He was accompanied by officials of the upazila administration and political and traditional religious leaders. The Deputy Commissioner toured the mandapa and exchanged greetings with everyone.
Gurudaspur Upazila Parishad Chairman Md Anwar Hossain, Municipal Mayor Shahnewaz Ali, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md Abu Russell, Puja Celebration Parishad President Babu Dhirendra Nath Ghosh and General Secretary Asim Kumar Pal along with leaders of Hindu Buddhist Unity Parishad and various professions were present at the occasion. .
