Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 75th birthday was celebrated at Bhajanpur School for the Handicapped in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh district. Drawing competitions, discussion meetings and prize giving ceremonies were organized for children with disabilities. More than one and a half hundred students of the school took part in various competitions.
Naimuzzaman Mukta, a member of the Central Sub-Committee of the Bangladesh Awami League and a member of the National Implementation Committee for the Celebration of the Birth Centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, handed over the prizes to the students. At this time, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is our beacon. He said that he is enlightening the whole world through development. Apart from the students, their guardians, freedom fighters and people from different walks of life were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Panchagarh district Awami League celebrated the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. District Awami League general secretary Anwar Sadat Samrat inaugurated the program by cutting a cake at the district Awami League office at 12:01 pm on Monday. District Awami League vice-president Abu Toibur Rahman, organizing secretaries Zulfiqar Ali and Ariful Islam Pallab, Sadar upazila vice chairman and municipal Awami League president Kazi Al Tariq, Chhatra League Juba League Mahila Awami League and more than 200 leaders and workers of affiliated organizations were present at the time.
The cake was cut and handed over to the leaders and workers. At this time a pleasant atmosphere is created. Later, a short discussion meeting was held after the prayers for Sheikh Hasina’s long life.
