Rajshahi University’s newly appointed Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor. Golam Sabbir Sattar Tapu said, this time the admission test has to be taken by keeping the halls closed due to Kovid-19. However, we will always strive for any needs of the students. There are plans to arrange accommodation for the students at the University Stadium.
He was speaking at a meeting with stakeholders on admission tests at the mayor’s office at the Rajshahi City Corporation (Rasik) building on Friday (September 24) evening.
“We are sitting today at the invitation of the city mayor,” he said. This time around 1 lakh 33 thousand students are admitted in Rajshahi University. The admission test will be held from October 4 to 6. An average of 45,000 students will take part in the exam every day. Besides, examinations of Dhaka University will be held on October 1, 2, 23 and 24. Currently the main problem is housing. However, it will be possible to arrange accommodation for about 80 percent of the students who come to RBI for the admission test.
