5 people were hacked and injured for not writing Alhaj before the name

The condition of five people who were seriously injured in the attack of the opponent is critical. The injured have been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. A case was filed in the incident on Wednesday morning but police could not make any arrests.
The four were hacked to death for not writing Alhaj before the name of a person on the Halkhata card. The attack took place at Dadua village of Dharabarisha union in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore. Abu Zafar Ali (65), his wife Sufia Begum (55), two sons Zahurul Islam, Sahabul Islam and relative Anwar Hossain were seriously injured in the attack by Aminul Islam Amanat and his men. The injured have been shifted to Ramek from the local Upazila Health Complex. The injured are relatives.
Among the injured, Zahurul has filed a case against Aminul Amanat, Ziarul Islam, Nazrul Islam, Kamal Hossain, Ranju Islam and Swapan Ali of the same village.
Injured Zahurul, the plaintiff in the case, said that Aminul Haque, a neighbor, had arrears in the seat copper shop of Anwar Hossain in Dadua village. But Amanat did not appear in the halakhata card showing that Alhaj was not written before the name of his neighbor Amanat Hossain. At one point, the shopkeeper threatened to take a look at Anwar if he wanted the rest of the money. And Haji Amanat scolded Alhaj for not writing before his name.
Last Wednesday morning, a group of about 15 people attacked Anwar’s shop with sharp domestic weapons. At one stage, the opponents vandalized the shop and snatched the mobile phone along with the money. Later, the locals rescued the injured and brought them to the hospital.
The assailants did not respond to a request for comment. Gurudaspur police officer in charge (OC) said. Abdul Matin said efforts were being made to arrest the accused.
