Two drug dealers along with 365 bottles of Fencidil were arrested in a microbus in Panchagarh

Atwari police have arrested two youths while they were carrying phencidyl in a microbus at Atwari in Panchagarh. On Monday (September 20) night, a team of Atwari police conducted a sting operation and arrested them from the intersection adjacent to the litchi garden in Atwari Bazar.

They searched the microbus and seized 365 bottles of banned Indian Fencidil, along with a microbus. The arrested are Aminur Islam, 31, son of Shahid Ali of Daruapara village in Dhakkamara union of Sadar upazila of Panchagarh district and Kabul Islam, 28, son of Abdur Rashid. Sensing the presence of the police, three persons named Arifur Zaman Liton, Farid Alam and Sultan Ali fled.
Atwari police officer in charge (OC) said. Izaruddin confirmed the arrest of 365 bottles of Fencidil, a microbus and two drug dealers, adding that a case has been filed against the detainees under Section 14 (c) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016 (1). They have been sent to jail through the court.
